We feel particularly challenged to do this because our organisation is one which is very vibrant and is engaging with its stakeholders on a regularly basis. We are confident that in addition to the media as a channel for informing our major stakeholders about our activities, we have a responsibility to provide details of our activities from a corporate perspective”. The newsletter will also serve as easy reference material on MTN’s operations in Ghana. The newsletter will also serve a critically important function as a channel for soliciting feedback on our various activities, products and services.

Mrs Trebarh also used the occasion to thank the media for the tremendous support the organisation has received from them since it entered the Ghanaian market. She said “you have been our voice and have been a major channel for communicating with our stakeholders and we look forward to partnering with you to enable us meet the needs of our valued customers.
